HE the Austrian Federal Minister for European and International Affairs Alexander Schellenberg met with HE the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Austria and the Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations and international organizations in Vienna Sultan bin Salmeen Al Mansouri, on the sidelines of a meeting held between the Austrian minister and members of the Arab Ambassadors Council in Vienna. During the meeting, bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries were reviewed.

HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani sent a written message to HE Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia Janez Jansa, pertaining to bilateral relations and ways to enhance and develop them. The message was delivered by HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Slovenia Sultan bin Salmeen Al Mansouri, during his meeting with HE State Secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia Dr. Igor Sencar.

The State of Qatar stressed the importance of Israel cooperating with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) regarding its nuclear capabilities, and to open its atomic reactors to inspectors. HE Qatar's Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Austria, and its Permanent Representative to the United Nations and international organizations in Vienna Sultan bin Salmeen Al Mansouri, said in front of the session of the IAEA Board of Governors held in Vienna, during the discussion of Israeli nuclear capabilities item, that the State of Qatar strongly supports the rule of law In international relations, as a basic guarantee for creating a peaceful and stable international environment that enhances opportunities for sustainable development for all peoples, noting that the goal of nuclear disarmament in accordance with international agreements and United Nations resolutions is one of the means to uphold the rule of law in international relations.

HE the Socialist Mayor and Governor of Vienna Dr. Michael Ludwig affirmed the depth of the Austrian-Qatari relations, expressing his aspiration to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various fields, especially in science, innovation and digitization, as well as the establishment of smart cities and in the framework of sustainability, green environment, sports and culture. During his meeting with HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Federal Republic of Austria and the Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the UN and the international organizations in Vienna Sultan bin Salmeen Al Mansouri, Ludwig praised the cooperation between the two friendly countries and the exchange of visits at the highest levels, in addition to the role of Qatar Airways in strengthening the bonds of friendship and bilateral relations.
