HE Ambassador Sultan bin Salmeen Al-Mansoori, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Federal Republic of Austria, and the Permanent Representative of the State to the United Nations and international organizations in Vienna met with the Permanent Representative of the Federal Republic of Switzerland to international organizations in Vienna, Mr. Wolfgang Amadeus Bruelhart, on the occasion of the end of his work and his assumption of the position of Special Envoy The Swiss Confederation of Middle East and North African Affairs.

The Swiss ambassador expressed his government's great appreciation for the role played by the State of Qatar in resolving conflicts and bringing peace to the Middle East as well as in Afghanistan.

He also stressed his government's keenness to coordinate efforts with the State of Qatar regarding issues in the Middle East within the framework of Switzerland's efforts to activate its role in the region and its main priorities of conflict resolution, mediation, peace and security, human rights, migration, sustainable development, economy, finance, digitization and modern technology.

For his part, Ambassador Sultan Al-Mansoori affirmed that the State of Qatar supports all efforts that contribute to all that brings peace, stability and sustainable development to the Middle East region.
