  • Passport loss or damage

  • In case of loss or damage of a passport the Consulate will issue a Laissez-Passer to replace the original lost passport. This will take between 3-5 working days to obtain the necessary approvals from the relevant authorities in Doha.

    Requirements:

    1. The person concerned must attend
    2. Report to the Embassy
    3. 2 photos
    4. Copy of birth certificate for those who do not have an identity card
    5. 15 € fees for the issuance of a Laissez-Passer
    6. A new passport should be issued at the arrival in Doha

 

  • Identity Card loss or damage

    The Consulate will issue a verbal note “To Whom It May Concern” to issue a replacement for the identity card that was lost or damaged.

    Requirements:

    1. Report to the embassy
    2. A copy of the person’s passport
    3. 6 € fees

       

  • Health Emergency

  • Requirements for Marriage

  1. A valid first instance court single status declaration (not married at the present time) of the person.
  2. ID or passport
  3. If the man or woman are foreigners (no Qatari-nationals), it is necessary to obtain a written consent from the Qatari Ministry of Interior that there is no objection for the marriage to go ahead.

     

  • Requirements for Newly-born babies

  • The Consulate will issue a Laissez-Passer to newly-born babies.

    Requirements:

    1. The baby’s birth certificate from the hospital certified (legalized) by the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs
    2. 15 € fees for the issuance of a Laissez-Passer
    3. A copy of the father’s and mother’s passports and their birth certificates (translated into German)
    4. The original marriage certificate
    5. In case of a foreign mother, a copy of the Qatari Interior Ministry's No-objection certificate.
