A walking marathon was held by His Excellency Sheikh Ali Bin Jassem Al Thani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Austria, as part of the Sports Day. All diplomats, Embassy staff and Qatari nationals attended the marathon in the Republic of Austria.

The Ambassador of the State of Qatar in Vienna said in statements to the media his keenness to establish this marathon in conjunction with the sports day organized by the State of Qatar annually in the belief in the importance of sport and its positive impact on the life of citizens and the development of society.
