NIDO Director-General Receives Credentials of Qatar's Representative

HE Director-General of the United National Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Li Yong, received the credentials of HE Sultan bin Salmeen Al Mansouri as permanent representative of the State of Qatar to the UNIDO.

HE the UNIDO Secretary-General commended the cooperation between the State of Qatar and the UNIDO, especially Qatar's continued support for the organization's various programs and projects, ensuring the achievement of the sustainable development goals at the international level.

He also praised Qatar National Vision 2030 and underlined the organization's support to achieve its goals.

For his part, HE Qatar's permanent representative to the UNIDO highlighted the important role of the organization in achieving the industrial development especially in the developing countries, stressing the keenness of the State of Qatar on supporting the organization's efforts in facing the global development challenges.
